Looking out through a pair of imperfect eyes, everything that seems imperfect becomes perfect. It is funny and ironical that something imperfect can perfect everything. If only the world sees through imperfect eyes too. Then everything would be beautiful.
Sometimes I'm scared to look at myself in the mirror when I wake up. Are the current pimples healing or are they growing redder? Are new pimples developing? Are my dark circles darker today? Are my eyes bags worse? Is my hair tamer today? Am I growing fatter? etc. :/
Only before I put on clear sight, do I see myself as something acceptable. If only it can be the same when in "HD."
But these are physical imperfections. What about inner imperfections? These can't be seen by mere mortal eyes. A girl who seem nearly perfect may have inner imperfections. But does the world even considers them? Can physical perfection cover up inner imperfections? I think that in such a world society, inner perfections mean nothing when you have physical perfection. All it takes is just 1 second to see physical imperfection. But it takes more than 1 day to discover inner imperfection. Maybe even more than 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 1 decade, or perhaps never. It is definitely easy to put on a false front when you have that physical perfection.
But what about those who are without?
Is it easier to condemn them? I mean, since they are already physically imperfect, their inner person must be horrendously flawed too. "She's so fat because she's super lazy and bossy." "She's ugly because she can't even be bothered to try to be pretty." "A lazy person like her doesn't deserve to be pretty." "Look at her face! She must be so dirty that she can't even clean her face properly." etc.
It is easier to condemn them right?
Even people who are physically imperfect also tend to condemn. What more about others?
If only society is more than just the face, the body, or even sexual appeal for that matter. Only then would the world be a beautiful place. Only then is it easier to love.
