Post-op.

Hello. Feels like I've been neglecting this thing here. *points to screen* Resting and recovering from Monday's operation. :/ Totally wasn't nervous or scared or anything at all, I just was "let's get this over and done with".

Note: I'm totally not really in a "writing mood" today. So yeah.

I think the worst part was the not drinking water bit? My throat so totally dry and painful. ): But after that I had to change into the gown and wait for my turn outside the operating theaters. It was kinda weird though, the feeling of not knowing anything.

Then after it was my turn. I had to hop onto a bed first while the nurses stuck some monitoring stuffs and took my BP. I had to take out my sleeves for the BP bit. I succeeded in taking them out without exposing myself in any way. XD But more or less I'll be exposed later I suppose. :/ The strings behind me weren't even tied! So it's like a naked body under a gown-sheet. LOLS!

Then they wheeled me in to the operating theater and I had to shift myself over to the operating table. WHY IS IT A TABLE?! It's a bed-sorta ain't it? Anyway, the doctors/whatever there had actually prepared for the WRONG LEG. Well, this kind of things happen really often in hospitals. That's why they have to mark the operating area to confirm it. XD Jab in needle into my hand for the anesthesia, breathe in and out of oxygen mask and off to lala land I go.

It was really fast in my opinion. I was as if I had just slept when I have to wake up again. But the moment I woke up I cried really bad because I felt as if my knee was dislocated or something and moreover the pain is immensely horrible. After taking pain killers I felt better and was wheeled into my room. I think I cried for a while while they were shifting me over into my bed because it freaking hurts! I think I half-slept most of the time and till then I had not seen how my leg looked like because it was under my blanket.

The first day pain was really really horrible and I gave in to the injection which made me really drowsy which was a plus point. Until then I had not realized that I HAD NO UNDERWEAR ON.

Seriously, I didn't realize it until I had to go pee. The first time I tried peeing I really cried because the potty was too high and it hurt and I COULD NOT PEE. I'm not joking. It was really torturing. It was because of the anesthesia that led to a weak bladder. WHY?!

I asked mummy the next day why I didn't have my underwear any more and she told me that they had to put in a tube while I was being operated on so I could pee. WHAT?! And at the operating theater there were so many male doctors, oh my goodness. .-.

BLAH BLAH BLAH.

And I was discharged on Tuesday which was pretty fast. And here I am.

It still hurts bad now but it totally wasn't as bad as the first day.

It's really really swollen and I have no idea why but the skin on my calf is really numb and I can't feel a thing well. :/ Pretty worrying huh? I feel like some pregnant lady with swollen legs. LOLS!

In all they were like 6 "plasters" but I don't know how many have stitches because some might be for the scope.

And to end of my anyhow writing, here's a picture of my leg I took before going back.

And after my left knee has recovered, it might be time for the right knee. OH MAN.

P.S. And one of the doctors (cute!) scared me by saying that when I was sleeping they had to test how bad my knee was. All they used was 1 finger and my knee popped out. SEE SEE SEE I knew it came out! :OOOO And upon seeing my shocked/disgusted face he asked me, "You mean you never played with your knee before?" LOL WHUT!
