Vivian came over to my place and we walked together to take a bus to Simei. We had our lunch at Eighteen Chefs. YUMS! But the waiter (?) made a mistake with my order. :/ But oh well. I like the ice cream. Mmmmmmm~

Then we went over to this store which sold bakery needs and everything there were so pretty. *stars in my eyes* But of course we had to concentrate and get our ingredients. We managed to get everything except the brown sugar and baking soda. Reasons:

Brown sugar: We only needed really little and they sold 1kg so it was not worth buying. In the end, we replaced it with normal sugar.

Baking soda: Couldn't find. And we thought we could get it from the supermarket instead.

BUT! We totally forgot about the baking soda because we thought we didn't need to go to the supermarket to just buy brown sugar. And so the trip to the supermarket was off and no baking soda was bought. OH CRAPS! *gasp gasp gasp*

We only found out that we lacked the baking soda once we reached home. AW MAN! But luckily, I managed to find some old baking powder which I have no idea why it's there at home since we got the oven a few months ago. Hmmm...

Mysterious!

We spent like 5 hours+++ to bake and clear up. Tiring ttm! But the results were really satisfying, especially the cookies. ^^ We made in total 220 cookies but maybe we could have made more because the first 2 batches were bigger cookies. However, we burnt the first batch of cupcakes because I forgot which was the "baking mode" and I couldn't find the manual. So I must now remember, baking = bottom heat. I wondered why we didn't google which heat to use for baking beforehand. *bangs head*
