What would you do, if you have this extraordinary gift to see ghosts (just like Melinda Gordon in Ghost Whisperer)? What if you were able to see your dear little brother after he left you in a car accident? Would you cherish every moment with him and keep your promise? Or would you get distracted by a girl who just entered in your life and "forget" your promise?
This was the exact same decision that Charlie St. Cloud had to make. What would he choose?
If I were him, I would definitely choose "my" brother over the girl. WHY?
Just think about it, you've made a promise with him but it couldn't be kept because of a car accident. And now, you have the gift (which is super RARE!) to see your brother and the ability to keep the promise, why not?
You've spent his whole life with him, every little secret, argument, fun and so on were with him. I'm definitely not going to let a girl come into this picture and ruin it. It's so precious. But what to do? We can't control matters of the heart. ):
But the main concern that I would have would be that what if "my" brother went into the light? Meaning, he's gone forever. "I" wouldn't be able to see him anymore, even if "I" could see ghosts. So I really feel that the time spent with him after his death is actually more precious than anything else. You can only have a brother once, but you can have a girl many times. True?
So yeah, that's my view. (: There's a movie coming up, it's called...
I think the movie poster said it all. :D
And the trailer. :D
I like the last part where it says, "We'll ALWAYS be brothers." That is true. That is echt. :D
So...
Catch Zac Efron in his new romantic movie Charlie St. Cloud, opening in cinemas September 30!
