The Notebook

Recently watched this movie. I know it's an old film (year 2004), but what was I? 9 years old? I wouldn't understand this movie and most probably be grossed out by all the kissing. (yucks!)

But, this movie is really touching and would make anyone cry. (unless you're not human definitely.) It's about the power of love and how a couple's love so strong that could take them both away together. It's really sad and all but at the same time it makes you kinda happy how love works in this movie.

But one thing's for sure, this kind of love is like a rare find. SERIOUSLY. This is like some fairytale love that will never ever happen in reality but, it's not wrong to think about it. (: And to dream of experiencing it. But I would say that it's really possible though, and we have like living evidences that sometimes we don't really take notice.

Like...

The old couple you see holding hands and helping each other walk slowly, step by step across the street. Whenever I see old couples being so lovey-dovey and stuff, I feel kinda happy because that is one true love. Cause I suppose after you get married, and when the children comes, it's really hard to love each other the way both of you first did when you have bills piling up, the house is a mess, the children aren't obedient and getting into trouble, work is getting stressful, etc. I really think so it's hard. I mean, it doesn't mean that your parents or my parents don't love each other, just that they don't love each other that much. Know what I'm saying?

And also, when you get older like those lovely old couples, you get all old and wrinkly and ugly and saggy and all. And that's when true love comes in. These old couples actually love each other for who they really are inside and not how they look like on the outside. (which is pretty not attractive at all in anyway) And it is even more heart wrenching when one of them starts becoming senile and forgets the other. Or worse, one dies, leaving the other lonely in this world with nobody to love and be loved by.

That's kinda sad. ):

The world's kinda cruel huh? But I guess that's the way it goes. But I really think the saddest thing is people's lost love for each other. How their love slowly fades as time passes. (when people are married i mean.) That's the saddest of all. Because, it can't be saved. You can't make that somebody to love you the way he/she did when both of you first met. It's entirely impossible.

And another sad thing is, loving somebody else when you're married. That's truly sad. If a couple's love can't last that long, what for get married? It's totally insane.

But I guess I will never understand this kind of thing, it's mad complicated, AND I don't want to comprehend it at all. (: Just stay out of it and I'll be fine. And I shall save myself heap loads of trouble.

And for couples together, just love each other like there's no tomorrow because you'll never know when your love for each other will die.
