shan't write about today, nothing to write about also. :O
yesterday was one long day, i think i might have blogged a little about it via my phone. :D so anyway, i was to go for my third MRI of my brain area? because the ENT doctor wanted to rule out the chances that i might have a tumor in my head (or something) because of my persistent tinnitus. (but i honestly think there isn't one and can never have one in there because if so, i would have died long time ago wouldn't i?)
well anyway, it's not such a big fuss about MRIs. but anyway, this would be something different because they would need to add a contrast to see clearly what's inside. (cheem stuff you wouldn't want to know.) it would be added through the veins on your hand, yups. had actually told the radiologist to inject it on my right hand because my left bruises very easily. but in the end she gave it to me on the left. i guess it's easier for her?
the one thing that i don't like about MRIs is the fact that you have to keep absolutely still. your whole body would become very stiff. but the super sad thing is that my head had to be "locked" down so that my head wouldn't move easily. also, i'm mild claustrophobic and i don't really like being in a "tunnel" and am not able to sit up or turn around.
the thing about getting injections is that normally the nurses or any medical person would tell you to look away. but i normally would want to look. cause i want to get ready for the pain. so being in the "tunnel", even if i had wanted to look, i couldn't.
and although i had so many needles going in and out of my body (blood tests), the fear of the pain still lingers. but anyway, all's over now. :D but it swelled up right after the MRI. and now there's a bruising. but i might consider donating blood when i'm older i suppose. so 习惯 to taking my blood le.

but anyway, after the MRI we had to rush off to jurong bird park for this hollywood dinos thing. which i must honestly say, it's boring. maybe for kiddies still okay, but for me? no way. just took pics. (getting used to the cam.) it was hard to take pictures because i couldn't get used to the camera and everybody kept budging. just show you some aye?

and last but not least, the stuffed one. :D
right after the thing ended, we headed down to jurong point for late lunch. (14 people in total.) ate at new york new york and the food's not too bad. you should go try. (: turns out it was my nephew's birthday (but i didn't know. :X). i can't believe it that all my nephews and nieces all so big le. and the oldest 2 are just 5 years younger than me, can you believe that? so because of the wide age gap between my cousins and the small age gap between my nephews and nieces we often go out together because my di and i are still considered kids. :O
and normally it would be quite boring because with the young kids, can't play much. but anyway, they're all so adorable lahh. (the younger ones.) haii, all young things will always be cute. grow up le, the cuteness 就不见掉.
but the best part at new york new york (or was it just that outlet) was that there was candyfloss. ^^ my favourite, and its green in colour (something new), which tastes like apple. :D but it was actually meant for the kids, (and not the big kid here), but i think the waitress made an extra one, soooo... :D
and i could still remember that last time when i first tried candyfloss, i detested it to the max. (i was quite young then.) because the moment the candyfloss entered my mouth, it disappeared. which led to a bout of frustration of the then super innocent charissa. (awww..) couldn't really believe that i once hated something which i love lots now. and every time there's those pasar malam, mummy wouldn't bring me in because if she does, and if i saw those candyfloss, you'll know...
okay, that was all. :O boring right?
and i actually thought that the dinos thing was inside the bird park. so wanted to see the penguins. ): (penguins are cute animals although i know that they stink, but who cares because i can't smell their odour. (:)
