5 days. just tahan! XD

i feel that today was the "most accomplished" saturday of all. not that i mugged lots, but just that i didn't feel tired at all. cause on normal saturdays, i would be down with the saturday blues. no energy de. also don't know why.

i'm getting worried for the exams, not sure if i'm ready yet. guess i've been saying that for like don't know how long already. hai.. *big sigh*

recently read from yahoo news that this year's PSLE maths paper was tough. oh boy. poor children. and at first i read this line with no reaction. "As recently as two years ago, the PSLE Mathematics paper had also caused a similar uproar." and suddenly i've just realised, isn't 2 years ago the year i've took my maths PSLE paper? :O was that really hard? was so easy that i had so much time left. could even checked through the whole paper thoroughly.

oh well.

anyway, they had this question for their paper.

Jim bought some chocolates and gave half of it to Ken. Ken bought some sweets and gave half of it to Jim. Jim ate 12 sweets and Ken ate 18 chocolates. The ratio of Jim’s sweets to chocolates became 1:7 and the ratio of Ken’s sweets to chocolates became 1:4. How many sweets did Ken buy?

stumped me. but i managed to get the answer. :D try it yourself.

*tip: i used algebraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.*

answer : 68. (if you had used algebra, remember to multiply by 2, oh wait, if you had used the same method i did.)
