it's gonna be a super long but brief post, of the past 2 days. :O (my memory is bad. pai seh :X)

kays, let's start off with tuesday.

had to be in school by 8.30am. reached school around 8.15-8.20? idk, forgot the time le. but that's not important. (: kays, reached school, totally wet. :X went to pee. my sweat was dripping from my head/forehead/neck/hair/idk to the ground. serious. sweat too much le.

got into groups, blahhs, took bus to marina/suntec area there.

so to cut the long story short, and to not let this lazy girl kill all her brain cells to recall what happened, i guess i shall let the pictures (and maybe some captions) do the talking. (: but just to let you know it was just basically a trip where we see sculptures. yeahs. oh, and the pics were taken with mummy's camera. my phone's down. ):

went back to school. went back to robotics room. was slacking for quite a while. thinking about i have no idea what. then, suddenly thought of the container. and i forgot that we could build it out of lego. -.- and we had actually wanted to go to dnt workshop to go build it. haii, think we're too used to seeing lego until we forgot all about it. :O actually this idea struck me when i saw this small box. and i was playing with it, with some ping pong balls inside. yeahs. so i built it, sorta alone in my team.

xinyu: went for science lessons
shirley + jialin: went for lunch

so after finish building, i went to secure some parts of the bot. then went home. (felt that i couldn't do much le.)

now, it's wednesday.

had to wake up real early. but in the end was quite late for the time i had to be in school by: 7am. mummy took a cab to bring me there. (: but then in the end waited for the rest and we left like 7.25am+ lols, should have just gone there by myself. wasted mummy's money. ): anyways, mdm sim sorta scolded me for wearing earrings. ): but i put them back on at science center. XD hey, it's the school hols lehhs. some more there some people will dress up to "WOW" the judges (sure have people wear earrings de.) hahas, bet she say some more if she saw my socks. didn't wear school socks.

heys, not i being rebelious here, not wearing school socks. but it's because if i wear school socks then i will fold, if i will fold, after a while the sock will luan diao. :O then very uncomfortable. then there might be a probability that i will get blisters. and some more the place is at science center. we're going back on our own. i need a comfortable pair of socks to walk in right?

so we went there. lots of people. :O and the place (forgot what it's called) was super cold at first. but i began to feel warmer after the stress and pressure got to me. :O

kays, the first mission was totally screwed up. seriously.

the second mission, which was the surprise mission, was sorta like the first with a twist. and during the briefing for it, they wanted to film us saying something. (which i obviously had forgotten). they said it's for CNA. O.O

kays, so xinyu went to modify the bot. and i tried programming.

to be honest, i'm not a builder or a programmer. but hey, after this competition, it really boosted up my programming confidence. (:

programming went well, except for some thigns which i had forgotten and i kept clarifying with xinyu. after programming, we had to go find out some stuff (rotation, light sensor reading, blahhs.) typed in the figures, and tried out. had lots of complications.

complication #1: the attachment (claw?) would not go back up before moving backwards. serious issue here cause if the thing wouldn't go back up (which means it's still in the container), the whole thing might just be pulled apart from the bot, or the bot wouldn't move at all.

resolution #1: andrew found out that xinyu had put the motor the other way round, so just needed to add a motor B forward to solve the problem. (:

complication #2: the bot kept turning round in circles forever. we didn't understand why, the programming was alright, so perfect (i mean well done XD).

resolution #2: i was fa dai-ing in front of the com, looking at the programme over and over again. didn't understand why the bot went "sot". then i decided to use timer. (which xin yu didn't want to use at first when i used it for the turns. :X) then okay. (:

everything was perfect and we were superly confident of getting some points.

xinyu came back.
