my big promise: fulfilled.

kays lurhhs. fulfilling my big promise. XD

this is for thursday.

came to school as per normal, went to cca room with xin yu to train for a while. not much could be done. :X then we had to leave for ngee ann poly le. took 2 cabs. xin yu, jia lin and i took one. andrew and ms lisa took the other one. hahas. then like i guess the total fee was like $60+? that's like a lot.

andrew and jia lin went up first, while me and xin yu went to buy the rs232 (i think that's what it's called) adapter. then we went up, took temperature and had a sticker. lol.

then, we tried using the adapter but it doesn't work. XD but it might work on other coms lurhhs, don't know. then the trainer helped us to change port then can use the download cable. can't believe we were so stupid as to not know how to do it. thenn, we were the third team to run. quite nervous lahh. then we took our bot, and it was time to compete. but then it all happened.

the same old problem. can't calibrate. and in the end, the whole program got corrupted. oh mann.. then we didn't even get a chance to run. so (can't put that face in, later affect my post). then, sad lurhhs. nicholson, ex senior told us our problem. cause have another school have same problem. cause once we turned off the bot, there is a probabillity that the program would get corrupted. so we must cage in with our thumbdrive next time. lesson learnt, in the worst way possible. i mean finals lehh. oh mannn.. but at least we maintained anglican's standard. stay in division 1 cause we got into finals. yays!

hahas, so we were so sad and sorta depressed i guess, our ex senior who was studying at np, decided to bring us some place nice to makan. (: had to walk a long journey there. not that long lahh, quite okay. then we ate. hahas. the place was like huge. o.o so we decided to take part in the cutest micromouse competition. lol, just decided to try only. hahas.

so we walked back down. the campus so big it's like a mini outside like that. had all the trees, and each building was like outside buildings. so cool lurhh. oh ya, when we makan that time, looking for seats, saw church member. ian.

kays, then we went to the bookshop downstairs to buy some materials. yups, just a piece of greyish translucent paper, ice-cream sticks and black blutack. and took some straws on the way out. saw another church member. benjamin. so qiao lorr. but both didn't see me. hahas, my eyes very sharp. ^^ saw this when we were in the bookshop. funny lurhhs.

and i didn't realise that there was a camera up there. XD

so we went up and chiong-ed. and the person kept rushing us, so we were the last team to submit the mouse. any old how do de. some pics here.

so we had a talk by someone from the school i think. and he was introducing engineering in np to us. and he did magic. so cool lurhhs. (: the best trick was that he had some magazines in the same size as those $10 notes, then he just folded them then ta-da, all became money. O.O so cool right? but like after his talk i felt quite an interest in engineering. hahas. (: then, announced the winners for the cutest mouse competition.

the first team to go up the mouse nice lehhs. and i thought they were first, turned out they were 3rd. so next team de, so cute lurhhs. then first place, guess who got it? us! oh my goodness, we were like laughing like some crazy people. like so impossible. we anyhow, last minute do de. then also can get first. so cool lahh. ^^ the teacher said it was most likely because of my mini mouse. hahas. (: so we all got a medal and a trophy.

kays, i blogged. yay! :D

came home on thursday, finished up geog article. wanted to print, then didn't have the driver, so had to download. -.- searched for it on the net and waited for it to install. so long! can sleep in front of com le. and it was quite late le. no say time. :X then printed it, then i only had page 1 and 3. oh my goodness, how come can print then miss page 2 de? so weird. ahhs. so i wanted to print page 2 again, then printer say no ink. so suay. then i tried looking for the refill, can't. then i so sad and tired, sat on chair. then saw the page 2 on floor. lol! felt so stupid. ahhh, can't say anything about my stupidity. so next morning tired. :O

then, friday. kays,

all i could say for friday was that i was bored by the lessons. oh mann. annabel told me that thursday was almost the same as friday. helps! going to die le. then china students came in. and some girls say that one of them very shuai. no lorr, so average. lol! (my expectations too high le. :X)

so after school, had cca. can't do much except fixed the gear onto the motor, which required some skill i guess cause cheryl can't. then i slept during cca. :P went to get thsoe big box. went behind and slept on it. it's really sleep de lor, but not deep sleep. hahas. then felt so much better after it. then did all my homework. (: i wish i'm better at vex. haii.

train-ed with xin yu, hui zhen and jack. and on the train, jack was like oh i suddenly realize that charissa is taller than hui zhen. hahas. XD hui zhen in self-defence, was like eh no lorr, i stand like this. XD funny. tired, so in train didn't say much.

then came home, slept immediately. and it was like 7. then woke up this morning. hahas, slept for 14 hours! shiok~ ^^

but then quite tired now, sleep too long also not good. sleep too little also same thing. so what lehhs.

kays, lurhh, better go do my last holiday homework. then i'm free! going to have to study for maths, and chiong memorize. ahhhs!

kays, long post today hurhhs. oh ya, better go reply. practically, my tagboard was dead. haii, want it to be more alive lehh!

oh ya, i just remembered. i not sure if really need but, i'm supposed to help announce to school that we won the cutest mouse award. O.O cause i'm the team leader. oh my goodness, can you imagine it?

good morning dr boon, ms cheong and fellow school mates. i'm charissa lum from 2D, from the robotics club and i'm proud to anounce that we had won the cutest mouse competition during the inter-school micromouse competition. my team consists of tan xin yu from 2C, andrew goh from 2K, and jia lin (i don't know her surname and class XD). we would like to thank dr boon, ms cheong, and the school, ms tan, ms hidayah, and ms lim for their continuous support. thank you.
